Review of Batu Jaran Hill Cottage UluwatuDuring our recent trip to Uluwatu, my family and I had the pleasure of staying at Batu Jaran Hill Cottage, where we embraced the perfect blend of comfort and nature. Tucked away in a serene side street, the location was ideal-close enough to the bustling dining scene yet far enough to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere, making it an excellent choice for eco-conscious travelers like myself. Upon arrival, we faced a minor hiccup with our room allocation, as we were initially placed in a room with two beds instead of the two-bedroom apartment we had booked. The incredibly kind and accommodating staff quickly rectified this by offering us two charming one-bedroom cottages. This thoughtful gesture turned our initial disappointment into a heartwarming start to what became a delightful three-day stay. We savored the delightful continental breakfast each morning by the pool, where the atmosphere was consistently welcoming and relaxing. The outdoor swimming pool was truly a highlight; it provided a refreshing escape after a day spent exploring the local beaches and surf spots. It was also comforting to know that safety was prioritized, especially as a father traveling with my young daughter. With free WiFi and convenient amenities such as air conditioning and free toiletries, Batu Jaran Hill Cottage struck a perfect balance between simplicity and comfort, enhancing our overall experience. I highly recommend this eco-friendly haven for families or anyone looking to unwind and connect with nature while enjoying some of Uluwatu's finest offerings. We left with beautiful memories and a strong desire to return.
